He started in the industry at the ground level, helping with his parents’ real estate investments where, through lots of hard work, he learned all aspects of the business including the art of negotiation. He soon began flipping properties on his own, executing major renovations and directing project management and architectural design. His hard-won knowledge of home building and renovation coupled with his own innate eye for design means he is absolutely meticulous in making sure that clients are happy from start to finish. Troy’s calm demeanor belies his strong negotiating skills, he knows how to assess the value of a property inside and out and how to get the best result for buyers and sellers.
Troy honed his keen eye for architecture traveling the globe, spending 15 years in Italy, Tokyo and Australia working in the fashion industry. It was there that he learned the ins and outs of great design while reveling in the timeless architecture and beauty that was all around him. He brings this sensibility with him to every project he undertakes.
But making the most of any real estate investment also takes a keen understanding of finance. Thanks to his 20-plus years of experience in the Bay Area real estate market, Troy understands which lenders to use to get offers noticed and can confidently guide clients in which renovations make sense financially, and which ones don’t.
